JMOMA is the largest modern & contemporary art museum in the Southeast. Film series and lectures are offered in the 125-seat theater. Family fun in the fifth floor Art Explorium Loft. Café Nola is open for lunch, M-F. The Museum Shop carries items from local, national and international artists.

The City of Jacksonville operates the largest urban park system in the United States, providing services at more than 350 locations located on more than 6,000 acres. Museum of Science and History (MOSH)
MOSH serves to increase the knowledge of First Coast residents and visitors on the topics of physical science, history, astronomy and natural science through exciting and educational exhibits, events and programs.

Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival
Established in 1964 to celebrate the opening of the shrimping season, the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival has evolved from shrimp boat races to a nationally recognized fine arts & crafts/food/antiques/entertainment and family fun festival. Always the first weekend in May, the Shrimp Festival is held in the historic downtown business district of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida.

 

Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens

Fort Matanzas National Monument
